Biography

Eric Stadler is an up and coming world premier guitar virtuoso. His works display powerful emotion, fiery intensity and flawless technical execution with an emphasis on expressive mastery. Eric has taught and worked with countless musicians over the years and has developed a tremendous multi-facted versatility in musical composition.

Eric met guitar legend Gary Hoey who was moved by his playing, writing and performance, and believes that Eric will become one of the next guitar giants of our era which was an amazing experience for Eric to not only work with, but befriend such a huge musical influence in his life. Ironically, Eric used to play air guitar "left-handed" to Gary's music and others as a young teenager before his parents bought him a right-handed guitar due to the higher price of a left-handed model. However, he felt unnatural having to learn the guitar right handed being a lefty and went through extraordinary circumstances to begin his journey into musical mastery. He began study in classical composition at the age of 14. After grasping the basics of the instrument, Eric was able to experiment with the notes and began teaching himself how to emulate his favorite songs as well as create compositions, many of which he heard in dreams.

Eric is now releasing his epic fusion metal album "StormBringer" which depicts an emotional journey of spiritual intensity, and evocative moodscapes including the track "Catastrophic Prophecy" featuring blistering, soaring lead work by Gary Hoey, and finishing up with the cryptic 13th track, "Source 13".

"Eric, you might be my new favorite guitarist!" - Gary Hoey
